Why I’m Finally Writing

I don’t know exactly why I’m writing this.

Maybe it’s because my mind is always full of thoughts that disappear before I give them enough attention. (Please tell me I’m not the only one.)

Maybe it’s because my brain decides that 2 a.m. is the perfect time to replay conversations from three years ago. Who knows? Maybe someone out there has had the exact same thought and just never said it out loud.

I’m not here because I have all the answers.

I’m here because I have questions.

What I’m most curious about is whether anyone else has ever had the same thoughts. Have you ever questioned something everyone else seemed to accept? Have you ever struggled to explain an idea that made perfect sense only inside your own head?

Maybe writing is my way of finding out.

I want to explore more — if someone reads these words and thinks, “I thought I was the only one,” then this little experiment becomes even more meaningful.
