Day 28 — December 31 Days of Poetry

Marshmallow and Almonds used to Tune Piano

In an effort to free all the words that seem to endless be spilling out currently, I’ve endeavored on 30 days of poetry for the month of December giving myself 20 minutes per day. And the writing prompt list was found on Pinterest. I choose to write with my right hand then switch to the left and occasionally back to the right; this transition is indicated by ::::::: breaks.

DREAMING OF DANCING

Freely uninhibited shackles release

Because she asked she approached she glanced in your direction

Take the leap let it all go and simply flow

Let the beat make you move drop on in it’s safe now

No more judgment no more restriction no more rules no more hiding

It’s time to take a step Out off the mat off the cushion and into the party

That’s been asking begging you to join in

You are well prepared no perfection needed bettr truly if it’s a hot mess like Zion

Because that is where the freedom and the growth and the release are

So, darling wait no linger it’s time to Dance!

To don those shoes that outfit

And get out there

Let the soul olead the way no need to hold back brilliant one

Have some fun there are no rules so long as you don’t set any

Come beloved play with life get swept away
