You Think Too Much at Night
It’s always worse at night.
During the day, you’re fine.
Busy enough. Distracted enough.
Surrounded by noise that keeps your mind from going too far.
But at night… it’s different.
Everything slows down.
And suddenly, your thoughts don’t.
You replay conversations.
Things you said.
Things you should’ve said.
You overanalyze looks, tones, pauses —
turning small moments into something heavier than they ever were.
And the worst part.
You know you’re overthinking.
You know most of it doesn’t matter the way your mind is making it matter.
But that doesn’t stop it.
Because overthinking isn’t about logic.
It’s about feeling everything too deeply
and having nowhere to put it.
So it stays in your head.
Growing. Looping. Repeating.
Until sleep feels impossible.
And the silence?
It only makes it louder.
