We identified that these bots were extracting value from our DEX (Decentralized Exchange) pools, artificially disrupting the price stability of $GAU. This situation was harming not only the project’s economy but, most importantly, you — our loyal investors.

How the Process Unfolded

1. Detection: We noticed that exchange-related wallets were draining the project’s liquidity pools (LP).
2. Intervention: We observed that trading continued via exchange-related wallets operating with “ghost” balances and automated third-party arbitrage software.
3. Lack of Communication: We attempted to resolve this issue with MEXC representatives multiple times. Unfortunately, we were met with a lack of cooperation and responsiveness that does not align with our professional standards.

Under these circumstances, continuing to work with a structure that puts our community’s assets at risk was impossible. Therefore, the delisting process from MEXC is not a loss for us; it is a necessary operation to clean up the ecosystem.

Data Doesn’t Lie: The Power of DEX

Our data indicates that more than 90% of the Gamer Arena community already trades on decentralized exchanges built on the Avalanche C-Chain, such as LFJ (Trader Joe). Centralized Exchanges (CEXs) are supposed to provide liquidity, not drain it.
